KAHDI meeting coming up November 19

Join us in Newton on November 19, 2011, for a regular meeting.  

We had a wonderful Summer Symposium! 

Friday night, June 24, we kicked off our annual event with a rousing game of Medical Jeopardy/Pizza Party. Kathy and Sue really did an excellent job with putting this game together and it was a lot of fun.

Saturday, June 25, we heard from speakers on medical information management, speech therapy for the autistic, self-care in the area of breast and other cancers, and EMTALA (known as the patient anti-dumping law). We rounded out the day with a roundtable discussion on tips for making our MT jobs easier.

It all added up to a total of eight continuing education credits offered for the entire symposium! 

Delicious food was provided by our corporate sponsor, Medquist.

Who We Are and What We Do

Welcome to the web site for KAHDI (Kansas Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity). We are a state component of the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI).

What do we do? We are part of an organization composed of medical transcriptionists and those from related fields.  We exist to promote networking among those working in our field and to support one another.  Our meetings provide continuing education credits for certified medical transcriptionists as well as networking opportunities.
